description ABS-2A Overview

ABS-2A is a geostationary commercial communications satellite owned and operated by Asia Broadcast Satellite. Launched in 2016, it uses electric propulsion and a Ku-band payload with beams serving regions that include South and Southeast Asia, Africa, the Middle East and North Africa, and Russia; its role is to relay broadcast and telecommunications signals between ground stations.
