Ariake Coliseum is a 10,000-seat tennis arena located in the Ariake district of Tokyo, opened in 1987. In 1991, it became the first stadium in Japan to be fitted with a retractable roof, allowing events to be held regardless of weather conditions. The venue is best known as the host of the Japan Open Tennis Championships and served as a primary tennis venue during the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics.
