Azure SQL Insights was an Azure Monitor monitoring feature for Azure SQL Database and Azure SQL Managed Instance. It used curated metrics and diagnostic data to help database administrators examine resource use and performance across those services. Microsoft retired SQL Insights on 31 December 2024, so it is now a historical Azure feature rather than a supported monitoring option; Microsoft points users toward database watcher and other monitoring tools.
