Badugi is a draw-poker variant in which each player receives four cards and may replace cards over several drawing rounds. The objective is to make the lowest hand containing four different ranks and four different suits; such a complete four-card hand is called a badugi. Pairs or repeated suits force cards to be disregarded when evaluating the hand, so a four-card badugi beats any three-card hand, and ace-two-three-four in four suits is the lowest possible badugi.
