How does the order-dice activation system work in Bolt Action?

In Bolt Action, each unit on the table has a corresponding order die that is placed in a bag or cup at the start of the turn. Players draw dice randomly, and whichever player's color is drawn must immediately give an order to that unit — creating an unpredictable sequence every turn.
