The Broad Fourteens is a broad, shallow area of the southern North Sea, located off the Netherlands and south of the Dogger Bank. Its name refers to a fairly consistent depth of about fourteen fathoms, or roughly 26 metres, rather than to a town or administrative boundary. It is a named seabed feature used in marine charts and nautical descriptions of the North Sea. Dutch and German navies also call it Breeveertien.
