Candlestick Park was a multipurpose outdoor stadium at Candlestick Point in San Francisco, California. It opened in 1960 and served as the home field of Major League Baseball's San Francisco Giants from 1960 through 1999, while the San Francisco 49ers used it for football from 1971 through 2013. The venue also hosted concerts and other large public events before its demolition.
