description Corvus Overview

Corvus is a small constellation in the southern sky that represents a crow or raven. Its four main stars form a recognizable quadrilateral, often called the Crow's body, and the constellation lies near Virgo and Crater. Corvus was included among the 48 constellations recorded by the Greek astronomer Ptolemy in the 2nd century and remains one of the 88 modern constellations recognized by the International Astronomical Union.
