description Crozonaspis Overview
Crozonaspis is an extinct genus of dalmanitid trilobites in the order Phacopida, established by Henry in 1968. It lived during the Middle Ordovician and is documented from Brittany and other parts of the Armorican Massif, as well as Spain, Morocco, and southern Cornwall. The genus has an ogival cephalon with a narrow anterior border that forms a short median projection, and some species have a mucronate pygidium.
