David Grusky

David B. Grusky is best known for his research on social stratification, inequality, poverty, and economic mobility. He is a professor of sociology at Stanford University and has served as director of the Stanford Center on Poverty and Inequality.

Grusky has authored and edited numerous works on inequality, including "Social Stratification," a widely used academic anthology, and titles such as "The Inequality Reader." His publications span theoretical contributions on class structure and empirical research on occupational segregation and mobility.
