Flood Tide is a 1997 adventure novel by American author Clive Cussler and the fourteenth Dirk Pitt novel. The story follows marine adventurer Dirk Pitt as he investigates a Chinese smuggler whose operations lead from an underwater site in Washington State to a constructed seaport in the Louisiana bayous, while a separate search concerns sunken Chinese treasure. The novel is also notable as the first Dirk Pitt adventure to introduce the ship Oregon, later central to Cussler's Oregon Files series.
