Frederick Corbin Blesse was a United States Air Force fighter pilot and Korean War ace credited with ten aerial victories. He flew the F-86 Sabre during the conflict and later wrote No Guts, No Glory, a 1955 manual on fighter tactics and aerial combat. The book became associated with the training and tactical thinking of postwar United States fighter pilots. Blesse is chiefly known to military-history readers for combining combat experience with a systematic discussion of air-to-air tactics.
