description Indulgence Overview
Indulgence is a trick-taking card game published by Restoration Games and designed by G. W. D'Arcey, Rob Daviau, and Justin D. Jacobson.
It is a modern restoration of the earlier games Dragonmaster and Coup d'État, with play for three or four people. Each hand uses an edict that changes the objective, such as avoiding particular cards or tricks; a player may become a sinner by reversing the edict for a larger scoring consequence. Players track penalties with money and use a custom thematic deck.
