Kepler-90c

description Kepler-90c Overview

Kepler-90c is a transiting super-Earth exoplanet in the Kepler-90 system, which contains eight known planets orbiting a G-type star. NASA lists a radius of about 1.19 Earth radii, a mass of about 1.81 Earth masses, and an orbital period of 8.7 days at a distance of 0.089 astronomical units from its star. Its short orbit places it among the close-in inner planets of the system, not in an orbit comparable to Earth's. [NASA Science](https://science.nasa.gov/exoplanet-catalog/kepler-90c/)
