Linaria

description Linaria Overview

Linaria vulgaris, commonly called common toadflax, is a perennial flowering plant in the plantain family, Plantaginaceae. Native to much of Europe and parts of temperate Asia, it has narrow leaves and two-lipped yellow flowers with orange markings that resemble snapdragons. The species grows in roadsides, grasslands, disturbed ground, and other open habitats, and has a history of use in European herbal medicine.
