Michael Peterson

Michael P. Peterson is an American cartographer and professor in the Geography and Geology Department at the University of Nebraska Omaha. His research focuses on cartography, GIS, Internet mapping, and animated maps. Interactive and Animated Cartography, published by Prentice Hall in 1995, explains how computer-based maps can move, reveal information, and respond to user interaction.
