Physocyclus globosus, also called the short-bodied or rounded cellar spider, is a small spider in the family Pholcidae. Its defining feature is a short, broad to globular abdomen, reflected in the species name globosus; adults are only a few millimetres long. The species is associated with the Americas but has been introduced widely, and it commonly lives in houses, basements, ceilings, and other sheltered buildings. It builds an irregular tangle or sheet-like web and captures small insects and other spiders.
