Yes, the distinctive expanding grip base is designed to be removed and repositioned multiple times. To maintain its adhesion, you simply need to rinse the sticky gel base with water and let it air dry before applying it to a new case. However, it sticks best to smooth, hard plastic surfaces.

A standard PopGrip adheres very poorly to silicone, highly textured surfaces, or waterproof cases due to the nature of the gel adhesive. For best results, it should be applied directly to a hard, smooth plastic or glass backing. PopSockets does sell special cases optimized to hold the grip securely.

Standard PopGrips must be completely removed from the back of your phone to use traditional Qi wireless charging pads. However, PopSockets does make a specific PopPower wireless charging station designed to accommodate the grip. Alternatively, they offer a PopTop version where the top part detaches entirely for charging.
