The Rivulet (*Perizoma affinitata*) is a geometrid moth described by James Stephens in 1831 and recorded widely in Britain, where it occurs along woodland margins, hedgerows, and grassy embankments. Adults have a wingspan of about 24-30 millimetres and are mainly recorded from May to July. The caterpillars feed inside the seed capsules of red campion (*Silene dioica*), eating the plant's seeds.
