Singing Guns is a western novel by Max Brand, the pen name of prolific American author Frederick Schiller Faust. The book centers on Rhiannon, a notorious outlaw with a singing voice, whose encounters test his capacity for change. Brand was one of the most widely read western writers of the early twentieth century, and Singing Guns reflects his interest in morally complex protagonists. A film adaptation starring Vaughn Monroe was released in 1950.
