Stag Jump

description Stag Jump Overview

A stag jump is a leap used in dance and gymnastics in which one leg is lifted forward in a bent position while the other leg extends behind, creating an asymmetrical split-like shape in the air. The movement is usually performed from a traveling step or one-foot takeoff and finished with a controlled landing. Exact leg height and arm position vary by discipline and by the rules being used, but the bent front leg is the defining feature.
