Tilemann Stella (1525-1589) was a German cartographer, mathematician, geometer, engineer, and geographer associated with Wittenberg and Mecklenburg. He produced maps and globes, including a major map of Germany completed in 1560, and wrote methodological work on large-scale mapping. His career also included service to Duke Johann Albrecht of Mecklenburg, who supported his cartographic projects.
