description Leeds Pottery Overview

Leeds Pottery was an English ceramic manufacturer based in Hunslet, Leeds, active from the mid-eighteenth century into the nineteenth century. It is particularly associated with creamware, often called Leedsware or Queen's ware, including tableware with pierced openwork borders and molded decoration. The pottery also made other earthenwares and stonewares, and its products are important to the study of Georgian industrial ceramics.
