Professional Scrum Master (PSM I)

The Professional Scrum Master I assessment contains 80 questions. Scrum.org gives candidates 60 minutes to complete it.

The passing score for PSM I is 85 percent. On an 80-question assessment, that means a candidate needs at least 68 correct answers.

Scrum.org does not require course attendance before taking the PSM I assessment. The assessment password is sold separately, and Scrum.org lists the PSM I price as $200.

PSM I tests knowledge of the Scrum framework, Scrum roles, events, artifacts, accountabilities, and the principles behind empiricism and servant leadership. The questions are based on the current Scrum Guide rather than on attendance at a particular training provider's course.
