description Takedown: Red Sabre Overview

Takedown: Red Sabre is a squad-based tactical first-person shooter developed by Serellan, a studio founded by designer Christian Allen, who previously worked on the Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six franchises. Funded through a 2012 Kickstarter campaign that pitched a return to deliberate, close-quarters tactical shooters, it was published by 505 Games and released in 2013 for Windows via Steam and on Xbox Live Arcade. At launch it drew widespread criticism for technical bugs, weak artificial intelligence, and thin content, falling well short of the expectations set by its crowdfunding pitch.
