The Clutching Hand, also known as The Amazing Exploits of the Clutching Hand, is a 1936 American sound film serial produced by the Weiss Brothers in 15 episodes. Jack Mulhall plays scientific detective Craig Kennedy, who investigates the disappearance of Dr. Paul Gironda after the scientist announces a formula for making synthetic gold. The serial is based on Arthur B.
