description Agraulos Overview

Agraulos is a genus of Cambrian trilobites in the family Ptychopariidae. The genus was described by Joachim Barrande in 1846 and is especially associated with Middle Cambrian marine deposits in Bohemia, in the present-day Czech Republic. Like other ptychopariid trilobites, Agraulos had a segmented exoskeleton divided into a head, thorax, and tail, and it lived in ancient marine environments.
