description Bean's sawtooth eel Overview

The Bean's sawtooth eel (Serrivomer beanii) is a deep-water marine eel in the family Serrivomeridae. It is known from the Atlantic and Indian oceans and the western Pacific, and its long, narrow jaws are lined with backward-pointing teeth, a feature reflected in the common name.
