description Conagher Overview

Conagher is a standalone Western novel by American author Louis L'Amour, first published in 1969. Its story follows drifting cowboy Conn Conagher and Evie Teale, a widowed mother struggling to sustain her family on an isolated homestead, combining frontier hardship with a restrained romance. The novel was adapted as a 1991 television film starring Sam Elliott as Conagher and Katharine Ross as Evie.
