Countdown Numbers Game

In the Countdown Numbers Game, contestants select six numbers and must use basic arithmetic operations to reach a randomly generated three-digit target. They have 30 seconds to successfully find the mathematical solution.

Contestants choose six numbers from two groups: large numbers (25, 50, 75, and 100) and small numbers (ranging from 1 to 10). They can select any combination of these numbers to help reach the three-digit target.

Contestants are given exactly 30 seconds to solve the numbers puzzle and reach the target number. This strict time limit has been a staple of the British television program since it began broadcasting in 1982.

Contestants score points based on how close their calculated answer is to the three-digit target. Getting the exact number awards the maximum 10 points, while being within a specific variance awards partial points.
