Griffithides is an extinct genus of proetid trilobites from the Carboniferous. Its fossils are associated with marine strata, including occurrences in Ireland and other parts of Europe and North America. As a late Paleozoic trilobite, Griffithides belongs to lineages that persisted after the major Devonian losses and is studied in work on Carboniferous diversity, classification, and regional marine faunas.
