Hisaki, also designated SPRINT-A, is a Japanese ultraviolet space telescope developed and operated by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA). Launched in 2013 on the first flight of the Epsilon rocket, it was designed to observe ultraviolet emissions from planetary atmospheres and magnetospheres, including interactions between planets and the solar wind. The mission is intended for researchers studying planetary environments from space.
