Phalanx

description Phalanx Overview

Phalanx is a horizontally scrolling shoot 'em up developed by Zoom and published by Kemco for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1991, with a later Game Boy Advance port. It is widely remembered for its North American SNES cover art depicting an elderly man with a banjo, an image unrelated to the game's science-fiction setting. The gameplay itself features the player piloting a starfighter across side-scrolling stages filled with enemies and power-ups.
